The Old Testament has 39 books while the New Testament has 27 books.

Some other 11 books which are not part of the 66 books were rejected as part of the Holy Bible Canon.

12 When Christ went through the tent and entered once and for all into the Most Holy Place, he did not take the blood of goats and bulls to offer as a sacrifice; rather, he took his own blood and obtained eternal salvation for us.
13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a burnt calf are sprinkled on the people who are ritually unclean, and this purifies them by taking away their ritual impurity.
14 Since this is true, how much more is accomplished by the blood of Christ! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will purify our consciences from useless rituals, so that we may serve the living God.
15 For this reason Christ is the one who arranges a new covenant, so that those who have been called by God may receive the eternal blessings that God has promised. This can be done because there has been a death which sets people free from the wrongs they did while the first covenant was in effect.

This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head.
All things are done according to God's plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning.

The New Testament on its parts actually tells us how the things happened.
We can therefore see that both the Old and New Testaments have one theme. The theme is Jesus Christ.
So, whether a person was born in Old Testament or New Testament time, Jesus is the only Person that saves humanity from their sins through faith in the fact that what God promised concerning Jesus has been fulfilled.

Meaning of the Word “Bible”
Biblia is derived from the Greek word “biblos”. Biblos is a word that describes a plant called Papyrus Plant. Papyrus plant is used for making a type of paper in ancient times.
The word “Scripture” “Holy Scriptures” and “Word of God” and some other phrases are used in the Bible to refer to the Holy Bible. But there is no where in the Holy Bible that the words “Bible” or “Holy Bible” are used. People choose to use these words as a title for God’s words.
When the word “Scriptures” is used with capital “S”, it means the sacred writings of God (Jehovah)
God uses the Holy Bible to tell us about Himself and to let us know who we are.
It is in the Holy Bible that God reveals to us the reason He created the earth and what He wants us to do on earth.
Christians use the Holy Bible to read and study about what God’s Word says.

The Author of the Holy Bible:
